The Fleet

We operate three Hell’s Bay Boatworks poling skiffs, each ideally suited to a different set of conditions. All of our skiffs are rigged specifically for sightcasting with an emphasis on minimum weight and maximum utility.

2001 Waterman 16 Mosquito Lagoon Edition

The minimalist Mosquito Lagoon Edition Waterman features a 320 lb. no-liner hull and is rigged as light as possible with a tiller-steered 25 hp Mercury two-stroke for extreme shallow water access with 1-2 clients. Draft at rest: 3”

2003 Hell’s Bay Boatworks Ultralight Glades Skiff

The ultimate shallow water poling skiff for stalking protected flats with one angler, the Glades Skiff’s linerless hull weighs in at just 240 lbs. Powered by a tiller-steered 25 hp Yamaha, she draws just 3-1/8” of water.
